The 3DR16P valve is a three-way pressure reducing valve used to limit the pressure in the secondary circuit and ensure the stability of the secondary pressure. It is used to reduce the pressure in a local circuit.
The valve is composed of a valve body (1), a control valve core (2) and a pilot valve body (3) with an adjusting device (10).
In the static state, the valve is normally open and the oil can flow freely from P to A. The pressure of the oil port A acts on the end surface opposite to the compression spring (9) through the control oil circuit (4). At the same time, the oil passes through the throttle hole, and the oil acts on the ball valve (7) in the pilot valve (3) through the throttle hole (6) and the oil circuit (5). The control spool (2) is set to build up pressure in the oil port (5) in front of the ball valve (7), keeping the control spool in the open position. The oil can flow freely from P to the oil port A through the control spool (2) until the oil port pressure exceeds the setting value of the spring (11) and opens the ball valve (7). The control spool (2) moves to the closed position. When the pressure at the oil port A and the setting pressure of the spring (11) reach equilibrium, the desired reduced pressure is obtained.
If the pressure at port A continues to increase due to external force, the control valve core (2) moves further in the direction of the spring (9). This connects port A and port T through the groove (8) on the valve core (2). Excess oil flows back to the tank to ensure that the pressure does not increase further.
The control oil in the spring chamber (12) must flow from the outside through the oil passage (13) to the oil port Y and then be discharged into the oil tank without back pressure.
The pressure gauge interface (14) can monitor the reduced pressure at port A.
