Da/Daw Pressure Control Pilot Stop Relief ValveThey are used to switch the pump flow to an unpressurized bypass when the accumulator load pressure is reached. Other applications for this valve are for high/low pressure pumping systems when the pressure reaches a set high pressure value. In this case, when the pressure reaches the set high pressure value, the low pressure pump is switched to the unpressurized bypass.

Model TY-DA/DAW pressure control valves are pilot-operated globe valves.

The composition of the globe valve mainly includes the main valve (1) with main spool assembly (3), the pilot valve (2). In 10-diameter valves with pressure regulating element, the check valve (4.1) is mounted in the main valve (1). In 25 and 32 diameter valves, the check valve (4.2) is mounted in a separately configured base plate below the main valve (1).

Schematic: Model TY-DA globe valves are available in a variety of sizes and configurations.

The TY-DA shut-off valve converts from P to A to P to T. The pump supplies the hydraulic system (P to A) via the check valve (4). Port A pressure through the control 5 line into the pilot control valve spool (6) of the left chamber. At the same time, the pressure from port P enters the spring chamber of the main spool (3) and the ball spool (9) in the pilot valve (2) through the throttle orifices (7) and (8). As soon as the cut-off pressure of the hydraulic system set by the pilot valve is reached, the ball spool overcomes the spring force (10) and leaves its seat. The oil then flows through the throttling holes (7) and (8) into the spring chamber (11). Alternatively, the oil flows from the spring chamber through the control line (12) (in the case of DA...5X/...). .5X/... From the spring chamber via control line (12) (in DA...5X/Y... type valves), either internally, or via control line (13) (in DA...5X/Y... type valves). .5X/Y... ...5X/Y... type valves) from the outside back to the tank. Due to the throttling orifices (7) and (8), there is a pressure drop in the oil passing through the main spool (3). The main spool (3) then leaves its seat and opens the ports P to T. The check valve (4) then closes the channels A to P. The ball valve (9) is then held open by the system pressure passing through the pilot spool (6).

When the actuator (system) pressure drops to a pressure equal to the shutoff pressure of the globe valve, i.e. in line with the switching differential pressure of the globe valve (see performance curves on page 4), the spring (10) presses the ball valve (9) against the valve seat. In turn, pressure is built up on the spring-loaded side of the main spool (3), which acts in conjunction with the spring force (14) to close the main spool (3) and isolate P from T. Pump flow is once again fed into the hydraulic system (P to A) via the check valve (4).

TY-DAW type shut-off valve the valve function is basically the same as the DA type valve. In any case, the pressure set by the solenoid valve (15) is lower than that set by the pilot valve (2), so that switching from P to A or P to T can be accomplished at a lower pressure.
