The DR6DP valve is a three-way direct-acting valve, which has a relief function on the pressure reducing side to ensure the stability of the secondary pressure. It is used for circuit pressure reduction, and the pressure is set by the pressure setting element (4).
In the static position, the valve is normally open and oil can flow freely from port P to port A. The pressure at port A also acts on the compression spring (3) via the control oil line (6).
When the pressure at port A reaches the setting value of the spring (3), the valve core (2) moves to the control position and the port pressure remains constant.
The oil of the control valve is taken from the oil port A through the control hole (6). If the pressure of the oil port continues to increase due to external force, the valve core (2) continues to move in the direction of the compression spring (3). This causes the oil path to open through the shoulder (8) of the control valve core (2), and the excess oil flows back to the tank to prevent the pressure from increasing further. The spring chamber is drained from the outside to the tank through the oil port T (Y).
The presence of an optional non-return valve (5) allows reverse flow from port to port P.
A pressure gauge interface (1) for monitoring the secondary pressure.
