The Z2FRM6 valve is a two-way flow control valve for sandwich installation.
The Z2FRM6 speed regulating valve is used to keep the flow rate constant regardless of pressure and temperature. It mainly comprises a housing (1) and one or two 2FRM6K speed regulating valves (9).
The throttling effect from port A2/B2 (A) to port A1/B1 (B) occurs at the throttling area (3). The throttling lever (4) is driven by the adjusting element (2).
In order to keep the flow rate at port A1/B1 (B) constant and independent of pressure, a pressure compensator (5) is installed below the throttle area (3).
The compression spring (7) is pressed against the screw sleeve (8). When there is no oil flow through the valve, the pressure compensator (5) remains in the open position.
This causes the pressure at port A2/B2(A) to act on the pressure compensator (5). This causes the pressure compensator (5) to move until a force balance position is reached. If the pressure at port A2/B2(A) increases, the pressure compensator (5) moves in the closing direction until a force balance is reached again. Since the pressure compensator (5) continuously performs a compensating function, a constant flow rate can be achieved.
There is free return flow from port A1/B1(B) to A2/B2(A) via the non-return valve (6).
