The DB/DBW 50 series pressure control valve is a pilot-operated relief valve. The DB type is used to limit the system pressure, and the DBW type is used to limit the system pressure and unload it with the help of a solenoid reversing valve.
The DB type relief valve consists of a main valve with a main valve core assembly and a pilot valve with a pressure setting element.
DB/DBW type relief valve:
The control pressure of oil circuit A acts on the main valve core . At the same time, the pressure acts on the spring-loaded side of the main valve core through the control oil circuits and with throttle holes and, and also acts on the ball valve core of the pilot valve. If the pressure of oil circuit A exceeds the set value of the spring, the pilot valve core opens. The signal is drawn from the inside of oil circuit A through control channels and. The oil on the spring-loaded side of the main valve core flows through the control channel, the throttle hole and the ball valve core through the spring chamber, from where the oil returns to the oil tank from the inside through the control oil line- DB...-50C/.. type; or from the outside through the control oil line - DB...50C/...Y.. type. The throttle holes and produce a pressure drop on the main valve core, which connects port A to port B. The oil flows from A to B while keeping the set working pressure constant.
The relief valve can be unloaded or switched to a different pressure (secondary pressure) by means of the remote control port "X".
DBW relief valve:
In principle, the function of this valve is the same as that of the DB valve. The unloading of the main valve core is achieved by the action of the solenoid reversing valve.
