Functional description, cross-sectional view
The DBE valve is a pilot-operated relief valve with a seat valve structure. The valve allows the system pressure to be continuously changed in response to an electrical input signal. It consists essentially of a pilot valve with a proportional solenoid and a main valve with a main valve plug.
DBE pressure relief valve
The system pressure limit is set by the proportional solenoid and is related to the current. The pressure from the system acts on the main valve core and at the same time, through the pilot valve equipped with a throttle, acts on the spring-loaded side of the main valve core and on the pilot valve core . If the system pressure rises above the set value corresponding to the solenoid force, the pilot valve core opens. At this point, the pilot oil can flow back to the tank and the throttle group creates a pressure drop on the main valve core, causing it to rise from the valve seat and open the passage from the pump to the tank.
DBEM type pressure relief valve
In order to protect the system from high pressure caused by abnormal voltage spikes on the proportional solenoid, an alternative solution is to install a spring-loaded pressure relief valve to provide maximum pressure protection.
