Types TY-SV and TY-SL are cone-valve, pilot-operated check valves that can be hydraulically opened to allow free flow of fluid in the blocking direction.
These valves are used to isolate portions of pressurized hydraulic circuits to avoid loss of load pressure in the event of line rupture, or to avoid actuator creep or drift caused by slide valve leakage during hydraulic lockout.
The composition of the valve mainly includes the valve body (1), spool (2), compression spring (3) and control piston (4).
TY-SV type... (Non-leakage oil port)
Oil can flow freely from A to B. In the opposite direction, the spool (2) is held firmly in its seat by the compression spring (3) and system pressure.
By supplying pressure to the control port X, the control piston (4) is pushed to the right. Thus the spool (2) leaves the seat and the oil can flow from B to A. The control piston (4) is pushed to the right.
Since pressure is required to act on the control piston to ensure that the valve opens, a certain minimum control pressure is required for the drain port to be blocked.TY-SL type... (with leakage port)
The function of this valve is in principle the same as that of the SV type. The difference is the addition of drain port Y. Here, the annular area of the control piston (4) is isolated from port A. The pressure from port A is applied to the control piston (4).
The pressure from the A port is applied to the area A3(7) of the control piston (4).
